Ph.D. student Ayan Maity successfully defended his thesis “Metal-Carbon (Metal= Ir (III), Au (III) Bond Formation Under Catalytic and Transmetalation Conditions: Metallouncleoside as Biophotonic Probes and Anti-Cancer Drugs; and Synthesis and Reaching of Iridium-Fluoride Complexes” and has accepted a post-doctoral position at the University of Houston in the Teets Group.
